Marinette To Open Museum

The Marinette Heritage Museum on Stephenson Island, Marinette, will open Tuesday, May 26. Needed are men and women volunteers, including high school and college students. New volunteers will be scheduled with the museum’s experienced volunteers who help to learn about the museum and the gift shop.

Most volunteer 3 hours per week, but are welcome to do more. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call Darlene Baetke at 715-732-2545 for information.

Goodman Class DinnerApril 25

Goodman--An Italian Dinner Night will be held at the Goodman Town Hall on Saturday, April 25, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. sponsored by the Goodman High School Class of 2017.

Proceeds will help the sophomore class pay for their 2016 prom and senior class trip. Admission is $8 and children age 5 and younger are free. Tickets can be purchased in the high school office and from class members.

The menu consists of spaghetti and meatballs, vegetables, garlic bread and assorted desserts.

Blood Drive Set for April 27

Lena--On Monday, April 27, the American Red Cross will hold a blood drive at Lena High School in the small gym from 1-6 pm. For an appointment contact Kathie Beschta at 920-829-5959 x3. 

Must be at least 17 years old to donate blood or 16 years old with a parental consent. Walk-ins are welcome.

Twin Bridge Rescue Rummage Sale

The annual Twin Bridge Rescue Squad Rummage Sale will be held Memorial weekend at the Stephenson Town Hall. Sale hours Friday are from 10 am until 3 pm and on Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm.

Donated items can be dropped off on Friday, May 22nd from 10:00 until 3:00 or on Saturday May 23 rd from 8 a.m. until 1p.m. at the Town Hall, County X. Persons can also call the Squad office at 715-757-2682 to make arrangements for drop off. All proceeds will go to the Twin Bridge Rescue.

Country Gospel Jam April 17

Crivitz--A Country Gospel Jam will take place Friday, April 17th at the Stephenson Town Hall, W11280 County X, from 7 to 9 pm. The public is encouraged to attend and can bring an instrument to play along, sing or just listen and enjoy. There is no charge. Coffee and snacks will be served.
