Meyer Resolution Honors Legion Post
At its May 20 meeting the Meyer Township Board adopted a resolution honoring the Floriana-Stecker American Legion Post 340 of Hermansville, Mich., for its 75 years of service to veterans, members and citizens of the township.
The resolution points out the Post 340 through the years has been helpful, friendly and accommodating to all veterans and residents. The Post has performed with dignity and respect for its members and the public.
It also reports the Post has been willing to give of itself in both time and service for the benefit of the township and has been a credit to the township and exemplified public service at its finest, carrying forward a sense of pride to the community.
