Alice Faye Montgomery Graveside services were held for Alice Faye Montgomery, of Snelville, Ga. on Saturday, June 13, in Victor, Iowa. She passed away Aug. 10, 2008.
The daughter of Marie and Edward Dohnal of County Line, Peshtigo was born on March 23, 1937, in Menominee, Mi. She grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and spent summers in Peshtigo at Clarence and Lenore Radtke's family farm in Grover with her cousin, Gary Radtke. Altho she didn't finish high school in Peshtigo, she returned every year to join her former classmates for class reunions. She married Bill Montgomery and they celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2007.
Her husband survives, along with four children. They are Scott of San Diego, Calif., Todd of Austin, Tex., Dawn of Atlanta, Ga. and Lisa of Maryland. She is further survived by five grandchildren.
Attending the service in Victor, Iowa, were family members, Gary and Mary Radtke.
