Lois L. Kidd, 81, of Armstrong Creek, passed away Sunday, July 19 at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Iron Mountain, Mi.
The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William (Vitlean Bousley) Smitham, was born Jan. 11, 1928 in Goodman and married Jim Kid in 1980. He preceded her in death in 2003. She enjoyed painting, gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Chester (Nancy) Pyrca of Armstrong Creek; three sons, Melvin “Terry” (Nancy) Klatt and Robert Klatt, both of Armstrong Creek and Richard (Chris) Klatt of Milwaukee; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and seven sisters.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Melvin and Jim; a son, Billy; a sister, Lucille and four brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 24 at Glenwood Cemetery, Goodman with Deacon Jerry Cross officiating. Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon is assisting the family with arrangements.
