
Neil C. Gezella Neil C. Gezella, 65, of Athelstane died Tuesday, Sept. 15 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born March 19, 1944 in Green Bay, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward (Ruth Jahn) Gezella. He married the former Judy Siudzinski on Nov. 11, 1967 and they had two children, Scott and Brent Gezella.
He was a graduate of West High School in Green Bay and served in the United States Army Reserves. He worked for Millprint and retired in 2006. After retirement he enjoyed various activities, including farming, gardening, hunting and fishing in the North Woods area.
His wife, Judy survives, along with sons, Scott (Kim) Gezella and Brent Gezella; four grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mrs. William (Nancy) Cropsey, Howard (Diane) Gezella, Randy (Linda) Gezella, Paul Gezella, Mrs. Scott (Carol) Chadwick, Mrs. Butch (Wendy) Jarvi and Keith (Nola) Gezella; many nieces and nephews and a devoted and caring friend, Fred Wauters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and James Hoagland; one niece and three nephews, Ashley Gezella, Tannon Gezella, Dale Spangler and Michael Hoagland.
Friends may call at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Crivitz on Friday, Sept. 18 from 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Athelstane.
