
Michael R. Rhode Michael R. Rhode, 28, of Coleman passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 22 following injuries received while at work on Saturday, Sept. 19.
The son of Mark and Ida (Giese Soletske) Rhode was born on Nov. 12, 1980 in Marinette and was a 1999 graduate of Coleman High School.
He was married to Darlene M. Nowak on Sept. 24, 2007 and was employed as a lineman for M.J. Electric. He enjoyed bow hunting, fishing and taking his 2 year old son golfing.
Surviving are his wife, Darlene; two sons, Thomas and Michael at home; his father, Mark (Shelba) Rhode of Crivitz; his mother, Ida (Ron) Soletske of Coleman; two brothers, Mac (Mandy) Rhode and Nick (Jamie) Rhode, both of Coleman; three stepbrothers, Travis (Crystal) Soletske of Suring and Chad and Troy Soletske of Coleman; grandparents, Ransom “Buck” (Audrey) Rhode of Coleman; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas (Joanne) Nowak of Pound and an uncle, Steve (Kim) Rhode of Coleman.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elizabeth Rhode; grandparents, Albert and Verla Giese and an uncle, Paul Rhode.
Friends may call at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Crivitz from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, with a parish vigil service at 6 p.m. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Crivitz. Rev. Fr. Walter Stumpf will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established in his memory.
