Douglas Meyers
Douglas “Turk” Meyers, 47, of Crivitz passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Oct. 5.
Born July 14, 1962 in Green Bay to Cassie (Tadisch) Meyers and the late Donald Meyers, he was a 1981 graduate of Crivitz High School. He owned and operated Meyers and Sons Excavating. He married the former Traci Myers on July 3, 1985 in Marinette.
His wife, Traci of Crivitz survives, along with three sons, Chaisen, Dusty and Tanner, all of Crivitz; his mother, Cassie Meyers of Athelstane; two brothers, George (Sheila) of Athelstane and Thomas (Joyce) of Green Bay; two sisters, Mrs. Ken (Annette) Voss and Mrs. Rob (Alice) Sandor, both of Green Bay; six nieces and nephews and one great-niece.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Messar Funeral Home, Wausaukee. Visitation will be from noon until the time of service. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery in Athelstane. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
