
Donald James Moder The family of Donald James Moder, 44, of Oconto, will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, Oct. 15 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto from noon until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m.
Deacon Walter Kaszynski will officiate and burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund will be established. He passed away Monday, Oct. 12 as a result of an accident.
The son of Arnold and Joan (Euers) Moder was born on Dec. 28, 1964 in Green Bay. He married Lori VandeWalle on May 24, 2003.
He earned his Eagle Scout Badge at the age of 13. He worked for Paper Converting Machine Co. from Dec. 7, 1987 to July 14, 2004 and then bought his own truck and drove for the last five years. He was an avid gardener and operated Moder Farms, where you could pick your own strawberries. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and went back to school to earn his degree in taxidermy.
His wife, Lori survives, along with three daughters, Amber Moder and Elizabeth Moder, both of Oconto and Lacey Moder of Green Bay; a stepdaughter, Trista Cleven of Oconto; a stepson, Nathanial Cleven of Pulaski; his parents, Arnold and Joan Moder of Green Bay; two brothers, David (Sandy) Roy-Moder of California and Daniel Moder of Green Bay; two sisters, Denise (fiance, Mike Wright) Moder of Green Bay and Mrs. Dale (Donna) Lang of Chilton; his maternal grandfather, Donald James Euers of Green Bay and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Golden Euers and paternal grandparents, Irene and Arnie Moder.
