
Lois Jean Kahles Lois Jean Kahles, 77, of Crivitz died Sunday, Oct. 18 at her home.
Born on Nov. 29 1931 in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen Grigsby.
On Dec. 19, 1948 she married Cletus Kahles in Chicago and he preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 2003. In 1963, the couple moved from Chicago to the Crivitz area. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, reading, travel and sight seeing.
Her children survive. They are Kathleen Steffen, Donald (Cheryl) Kahles and Samuel (Sandra) Kahles, all of Crivitz and Mrs. Mike (Susan) Hartzheim and Mrs. Rick (Peggy) Peterson, both of Marinette. She is further survived by five sisters, Mrs. Irv (Marilyn) Gillian of Crivitz, Mrs. Bob (Bernice) McCarthy of Fort Wayne, Ind., Mrs. Jim (Charlotte) Blaha of Sheboygan, Mrs. Bill (Gladys) Schuyler of Green Bay and Mrs. Jerry (Jessie) Reese of Wausaukee; two brothers, Harry (June) Grigsby of Chicago and Bobbie Grigsby of Green Bay; 24 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, Cletus, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Howard, Charleen and Shirley.
Visitation will be held at Messar Funeral Home, Wausaukee on Friday, Oct. 23 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with funeral services to follow. Rev. Paul Heuter will officiate and burial will be on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. in Forest Home Cemetery in Athelstane.
