Marjorie F. Colson, 85, of Oconto, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 20 at Woodlands of Oconto.
Born Nov. 24, 1923 in Oconto, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Florence (Dory) Modrow. She married Maynard Colson and he preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1988. She was known for her cooking and spent most of her time helping others. She enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Al (Sharon) Carr of Albertville, Ala. and Mrs. Larry (Shirley) Wiggins of Lufkin, Tex.; a son, Gary (Beth) Modrow of Guntersville, Ala.; a brother, Robert (Lynn) Rosera; two sisters, Mrs. Al (Jacqueline) Gilles and Dorothy Lacombe, both of Green Bay; two sisters-in-law, Elaine Modrow of Oconto and Norma Modrow; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
The family received relatives and friends at Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. Jerry Lewin.
