
Denis O’Malley Denis O’Malley, 75, longtime resident of Abrams and Suamico died Friday, Nov. 6 at a local nursing home.
Born Dec. 31, 1933 in Ireland, to the late Patrick and Julia (Murphy) O’Malley, he served in the United States Navy for many years. On Nov. 30, 1963 he married Dorothy Richter in Georgetown. For many years he owned and operated O’Malley’s Gas Station.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jarlath (Maura) Harkin of Suamico; three grandchildren; two sisters, Julie Curry of Alaska and Mary Keenan of Arlington, Va.; a brother, John (Mary) O’Malley of Ireland and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard and Joyce Richter of Oconto and Karen and Bill O’Sullivan of Saukville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; a brother, Paddy; three brothers-in-law, Joe Curry, Jim Keenan and Vaughn Rose.
Friends called on Monday, Nov. 9 at SS Edward & Isadore Catholic Church, Flintville from 9:30 a.m. until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Rev. David Kasperek officiated and burial was in St. Patrick Cemetery, Stiles. Blaney Funeral Home, Green Bay assisted the family.
