
James J. Pisczor James J. Pisczor, 63, of Green Bay passed away Saturday morning, Nov. 7 after a brief illness.
Born May 3, 1946 to Joseph and Helen (Klescewski) Pisczor, he grew up in Armstrong Creek. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1964 to 1968, which included duties in Vietnam.
On Oct. 26, 1968, he married Mary “Betsy” E. Raboin in Goodman and the couple then resided in Green Bay until the present time. He was employed at Fort Howard Paper Corp. (Georgia Pacific) from 1968 until his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and entertaining family and friends at his cabin in Forest County.
Surviving are his wife, Mary “Betsy”; a son, Michael (Melissa) Pisczor of Weston; a daughter, Mrs. Tony (Lori) Ellis of Crown Point, Ind.; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; his father, Joseph Pisczor of Green Bay; three sisters, Mrs. Dennis (Linda) Heyrman of Loveland, Colo., Mrs. Hozea (Karen) Lock of Green Bay and Mrs. Dave (Chris) Beres of Fond du Lac; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Sam (June) Sawant of Hartland; a brother-in-law, Bill (Lillis) Raboin of Manitowoc and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Pisczor in 2006; a son-in-law, John Engberg in 2005; his father-in-law, Earl J. Raboin in 2006 and his mother-in-law, Mary A. Raboin in 2004.
Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., Green Bay on Tuesday, Nov. 17 after 3 p.m. until time of the memorial service at 6 p.m. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
