Carol J. (Mrs. Maynard) Rice, 77, of Oconto Falls died Monday morning, Nov. 9 at her home.
Born Dec. 15, 1931 in the Town of Lena to the late Edwin and Ella Bigelow, she grew up in the area. She attended Oconto Falls Public Schools and graduated from high school in 1950. On June 24, 1950 she married Maynard Rice at Grace Lutheran Church in Oconto Falls.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Maynard; three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Pamela) Lemorande of Oconto Falls, Mrs. Larry (Linda) Pelishek of Abrams and Mrs. Dan (Cynthia) Brokiewicz of Bonduel; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Betty Krumrei of Suamico; a brother, Neil Bigelow of Oconto Falls and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Jones Funeral Service, Oconto Falls after 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 13 until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Rev. Doreen Jeffers will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
