Ruth I. Johnson, 77, of Marinette passed away on Saturday, Nov. 14 at Bay Area Medical Center, Marinette.
Born Oct. 5, 1932 in Marinette, she worked at the Marinette County Courthouse in the Department of Social Services for 40 years.
She is survived by two brothers, Carl H. (Carole) Johnson and Iver (Joan) Johnson; a sister, Gunnel Arnkvist, living in Sweden and two nephews and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Edith Johnson and a brother, George.
Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home, Marinette from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 6 p.m. Rev. James Wendt will officiate and burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Marinette.
