Gwendolyn F. Stolberg, 91, of Green Bay died Wednesday, Nov. 18 at a Green Bay nursing home.
Born May 12, 1918 to the late Fred and Alma (Gilbert) Jenkins in Iron Mountain, Mi., she attended Green Bay Badger Business College and was employed at Bay West Paper Company.
On Aug. 29, 1940 she married Eric Stolberg in Iron Mountain and he preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1994. She was an avid homemaker and an active member of Bethany United Methodist Church, where she was the coordinator of the Sunday School and participated in many of the church groups.
Survivors include a son, John (Cindi) Stolberg of Green Bay; a daughter, Mrs. Don (Janet) Landwehr of Crivitz; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Roy (Pat) Jenkins and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Eric, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Mavis and Mike Bucan.
Friends called after 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 23 at Bethany United Methodist Church, Green Bay, until time of service at 11 a.m. Rev. Randell Richter and Rev. Patrick Green officiated. Private entombment took place at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Green Bay served the family.
