Cecelia Imig, 100, formerly of Lena passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 9.
The daughter of the late Louis and Dora (Kowalczyk) Pociopa was born on Oct. 29, 1910 in Lena.
She and her husband, Herman farmed in Lena until their retirement in 1972, at which time they moved to the Village of Lena. They spent their winters in Harlingen, Tex. until his death in 1982. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and playing cards with her neighbors.
She is survived by two sons, Alfred Mike (Shirley) Imig of Lena and Norman (Florence) Imig of Lexington, Ky.; a daughter, Jane Koloske of Paris, Tex.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, Herman, she was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Lena from 10:30 a.m. until time of the funeral services at noon on Saturday, Nov. 13. Pastor Mary Zupansic officiated and burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
