Against Nompleggi In

The visiting Chiefs took over the scoring pace for the next 4 innings, highlighted by the booming bat of slugging Cody Giesseman. The number three hitter belted a solo homer to left in the fourth inning then added a two-run shot to right center in the fifth for a 4-1 spread.
Heading into the bottom of the sixth, Peshtigo sent 9 batters to the plate and scored 4 runs on five hits to regain the upper hand.

Taking that 5-4 edge into the top of the 7th, reliever Neumann set the side down in order. He got the slugging Giesseman to ground out to short, then used a pair of fly balls to centerfield to end the game.
The final out wasnt easy as a cemterfielder Joey Sparks crashed into the fence to take a potential double away from Tanner Biwer.
