T/Wausaukee Lists ATV Routes, Appointments
-Additional ATV routes, election inspectors, survey monument and per capita cost increase for Northwoods Recycling Coalition were among items of business when the Wausaukee Town Board met Tuesday, Sept. 11. All Board members were present.
Also attending were Jack and Penny Pociask, James Pociask, David and Mary Anne Tomasino, Tery Moza, Dr. Alice Lee, Jack Zore, Greg and Andrew Schroeder, Jeanne Koontz, Brandon Wesolowski, Robin Bender, Mike Czebotar, Dick and Patti Jensen and Mick Stream.
ATV routes added were Otterway, starting at Squaw Creek Road to the end of Otterway; add Ila Road, starting at Squaw Creek Road ending at Otterway, also Buck Lane, starting at Feller Road to end of Buck Lane.
In other, the Board approved appointments of Richard Willan, Connie Hartz and Betty Dennis as Chief Election Inspectors for the Town.
The Board was informed of a notice that the Northwoods Recycling Coalition increased the per capita cost for 2013 to $5. As of Jan. 1 preliminary estimate of the town population was 1,073.
In other action, the Board approved the financial report of the treasurer showing balance on hand as of Aug. 31 was checking $13,029.47 and money market general account at $197,273.94.
Clerk Cheryl Stumbris handed out brochures on Wisconsin Height Modernization Program explaining details of the Department of Transportation installing a Survey Monument in front of the Town Hall.
It was also reported the town has completed the necessary changes to FCC license on line to change Emission designator on license to narrow band.
