Timothy M. Homa
Timothy M. Homa, 64, of Wausaukee passed away Saturday night, Sept. 22 at UW-Madison Hospital.
Born Aug. 15, 1948 in Menominee, son of Raymond and Cecelia (Fifarek) Homa, he graduated from Marinette Catholic Central High School in 1966 and continued his education at Rice Lake Technical School to study drafting.
After graduation he entered the workforce for two years before being drafted into the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Jean Kaufman on Nov. 14, 1970 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Marinette. He worked at Marinette Marine and retired from Ansul. He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. He spent numerous hours woodcarving and enjoyed hunting and fishing. But spending time with his family and friends made him the happiest.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jean; two daughters, Alecia Homa of Green Bay and Becky Richmond of Oconto; two grandchildren; a brother, Don (Ann) Homa of Iron River and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at Messar-Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee with Deacon Patrick Whitcomb officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
