Dianne Pinner,75, of Huntington, Tex. died Sunday, Sept. 23 in a Lufkin hospital.
The daughter of the late Elizabeth Betty (Kubik) and Harvey Jungblut, sr., was born Aug. 23, 1937 in Oak Park, Ill. and graduated from Crivitz High School in 1955.
She was a homemaker and also the bookkeeper for her late husband 's logging business. A gifted artist, she loved landscape painting, farming and gardening. She was a member of Alco Baptist Church and resided in Huntington for the past 58 years.
She is survived by children, Joel (Vicki) Pinner and Jarrod (Sandi) Pinner, both of Huntington, Sherry (Jeff) Rast and Jacki Kopycinski, both of Lufkin and Jeff, jr. (Karen) Pinner of Pollok; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Etta Pinner of Huntington; twin sister and brother-in-law, Carole and Bob Pinner of Lufkin; sisters and brother-in-law, Jeanne and Bob Schulz and Vicki Jungblut, all of Wisconsin; brothers and sister-in-law: Harvey, jr. and Barbara Jungblut and Michael Jungblut, all of Wisconsin as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Pinner, sr.; a grandson, Jacob Pinner and her father-in-law, Reagan Pinner, sr.
Services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 10 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Brother Bobby Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Sims (Rocky Hill) Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jed Pinner, Cody Pinner, Orrin Pinner, Morgan Kopycinski, Grant Kopycinski and Sean Pickard. Honorary pallbearers are Jon Pinner, Tell Pinner, Ross Pinner, Sam Pinner and Tim Johnson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sims-Rocky Hill Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 1322, Huntington, TX. 75949. The family welcomed friends and loved ones from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening, Sept. 25 at the funeral home in Lufkin.
