Regina L. Waldbillig
Regina L. Waldbillig, 85, of West Bend, formerly of Niagara passed away Thursday, Sept. 20 at Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.
Born on Oct. 1, 1926 in Fredonia, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Wiskerchen) Heimerl, she grew up in Fredonia, where she graduated from school. She also attended the Sisters of Notre Dame, Milwaukee. She then moved to South Dakota where she taught Indian children.
She married Ted Waldbillig and he preceded her in death in 1976. She lived in Niagara until 1999, at which time, due to her health she moved to a nursing facility in Madison for a year and then to West Bend to Samaritan Health Center, where she resided to be closer to her nephew.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, Sept. 25 from 9:30 a.m. until time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Anthonys Catholic Church, Niagara. Rev. Matt Settles officiated and burial was in Niagara Cemetery, Niagara. Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel served the family.
