To Whom It May Concern:
My wifes mother lived in Pembine in the early 20th century. We have a document that records her mothers first communion in St. Ignatius Church on March 27, 1910.
We note that St. Ignatius no longer exists in Pembine, but have not been able to locate information about the circumstances of its disappearance from the area. Can you suggest any reference sources that I can consult to find out more about the history of St. Ignatius?
I will appreciate any information that you can offer.

Are we going to let the super rich and the huge corporations money elect our next president and other government officials? Or are we going to research the facts and make an informed decision based on the truth? If you keep watching the campaign ads and hear the same lies over and over again, you may start to believe them. There are a few web sites on the Internet that deny or confirm these campaign ads: Politifact.com, Factcheck.com, and Snopes.com.
The Republican party is not your fathers party anymore. It is now a party of greed and power. More for the rich, and less for the rest of us. Less taxes for the rich and more taxes for the rest of us. From the day Mr. Obama was elected president, the Republicans vowed to make him a one-term president, and they have done everything in their power to make sure bills President Obama and the Democratic Party proposed would not pass.
If Mr. Romney is elected president, we will see drastic changes in Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Education, Healthcare (especially womens), Environmental laws, Regulation laws, etc., etc. And who will be adversely affected by this? The middle class, the poor, the elderly, and women.
Before you vote on November 6, please check out the web sites mentioned above and get the truth instead of listening to lies and misleading facts on the campaign ads. Then vote DEMOCRAT!

A big thank you to the Peshtigo School District and Peshtigo Times for the recognition of the 50th Anniversary of the New stadium and our 1962 undefeated Bulldog football team. How neat to be included in the homecoming event. The 16 members who showed up had a good time rerunning plays and reliving the games. Some of us hadnt seen each other since high school.
A special thank you to Tom Gryzwa. I handed the ball to him and he Gotter Done as I knew he would.
Thanks to anyone else who helped to make it happen.
