Carl W. Maves, 87, of Crivitz passed away Friday, Sept. 28 at home.
Born March 2, 1925 in Greenleaf to the late Otto and Helen (Lebal) Maves, he served in the United States Marines during World War II. He spent his life as a dairy farmer and loved ice fishing.
Survivors include two brothers, John (Kathleen) Maves of Crivitz and Donald Maves of Broken Arrow, Okl.; two sisters, Mary (Jim) Bellor of Falls Church, Va. and Phyllis Ebben of Manassas, Va.; a special niece, Connie Maves of Crivitz and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
According to his wishes, there were no formal funeral services. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Crivitz assisted the family.
