Wausaukee Firm Seeks DNR Permit
Wausaukee Composites, Inc. of Wausaukee submitted a permit application to the DNR including plans and specifications for operation of a facility for fiberglass manufacturing.
The DNR made a preliminary determination that the application meets state and federal air pollution control requirements and that the permit should be approved.
Interested persons wishing to submit written comments on the application or DNRs review of it or to request a public hearing should do so within 30 days of notice to DNR, 2984 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, WI 54313-6727, Attn. Carol V. Crawford, P.E.
Anyone requesting a hearing shall indicate their interest in the permit and the reasons why a hearing is warranted.
After all comments have been considered, a proposed permit will be drafted and sent to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) for a 45-day review period. Any person may petition the US EPA within 60 days after the expiration of the 45-day review period to make an objection to the permit. Unless the US EPA objects in writing to the issuance of the permit as proposed within that 45 day period, the Department will issue the final permit as proposed.
