Marian F. Lentz, 89, formerly of Pound died Wednesday, Oct. 3 at Rennes Health Center-West, Peshtigo.
The daughter of the late Robert and Minnie (Swenty) Oleck was born Oct. 29, 1922 in Pound.
She married Elmer Lentz on June 17, 1944 at the Section Eight Baptist Church, Pound and he preceded her in death on April 20, 1972. Her interests included gardening, crocheting lap robes and afghans, reading, writing to friends and relatives and reading the Bible.
Surviving are a son, Clifford Lentz of Pound; six brothers, John (Shirley) Oleck and Oliver (Carol) Oleck, both of Pound, George (Arlene) Oleck and Richard (Vivian) Oleck, both of Crivitz, Donald (Kathy) Oleck of Green Bay and Elmer (Judy) Oleck of Shawano; two sisters, Violet ONeil of Virginia Beach, Va. and Betty Sadowsky of Mequon and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Elmer, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Bernice Vicker, Lorraine Pelkey and Susan Zaune and three brothers, August, Robert and Charles Oleck.
According to her wishes there was no visitation or funeral service. Private interment was in First Baptist Cemetery, Pound with Rev. Mark Kostreva officiating. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman assisted the family with arrangements.
