Dennis J. Becks, 52, died Friday, Oct. 12 at his home.
Born Jan. 3, 1960 in Green Bay to the late John and Delphine (Preslaski) Becks, he served in the United States Air Force from 1981 to 1985.
He worked at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City for the past 10 years. He loved following the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars. He planned on following the circuit when he retired (being a "Fan Chaser"). He also loved to watch NHRA drag racing and was a great Packer fan. He made sure to always come to Wisconsin every year to be with her family.
He is survived by two daughters, Jessica (Ryan) Becks-Ramsey of Pyeongtaek, Korea and Jennifer Becks of Wichita, Kan.; nine siblings, Larry (Laura) Becks, Julie (Mike) Gretzinger and Glen Becks, all of Green Bay, Mike Becks of Oconto Falls, Nancy (Dave) Wooley, Amy (Dennis) Dionne and Holly (Greg) Courtois, all of Oconto, Tammy (EJ) Tiegs of Abrams and Danny (Cathy) Becks of Seymour and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Green Bay from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at noon. Burial was at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
