Area Churches Have Joint Raffle Drawing
Amberg--A top prize of $3000 is on the raffle fundraiser sponsored by St. Agnes Catholic Church of Amberg and St. Augustine Catholic Church of Wausaukee. Only 2400 tickets have been printed for the event.
Second prize is $1500, $1000 for third place, fourth and fifth prizes are $300 each and prizes six through 10 are $100 each.
The drawings will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17 following the annual Hunters Supper at St. Augustine Church Hall in Wausaukee. Serving is from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
The menu includes baked chicken, meatballs, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, cole slaw, relishes, rolls, beverages and homemade pies. Cost is $7 at the door. Children ages six to 12 are $4, and those under give eat free.
The special Hunters Mass will be at 7 p.m. at St. Augustine.
The raffle tickets are available for a donation of $10 each. The public is welcome.
