A memorial service will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church, Menominee on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 4 p.m., for Mary Elizabeth (Teifke) Husbeck, 61, who passed away Thursday, Oct. 18 in Norfolk, Va.
A gathering of family and friends will follow the service until 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
The daughter of the late Gustav and Ruth (Saari) Teifke was born on May 8, 1951 in Marinette. She enjoyed antiques, gambling, gardening and most of all spending time with her granddaughters.
She is survived by three children, Brett (Cristin) Husbeck of Virginia Beach, Va., Scott Husbeck of Menominee and Stacey Harris of Norfolk, Va.; two grandchildren; siblings, Ruth Ann (David) Cairns, Sandy (Jerry) Sallgren, Bonnie Barden and Danny Teifke, all of Menominee and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David.
