Theresa L. Greening
Theresa L. Greening, 86, a lifelong Manitowoc resident, died early Wednesday morning, Nov. 14 at Aurora Medical Center, Manitowoc County.
Born on June 6, 1926 in Marinette, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Philomen (Dennie) Audit. She graduated from Marinette Catholic Central High School with the Class of 1944 and on Oct. 16, 1948 married Robert C. Greening in Marinette.
She was employed with F.W. Woolworth Co. as a retail clerk for over 20 years and was a den mother for the Cub Scouts for nine years. She enjoyed bowling, especially with her husband and loved to play cards and read. Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; four children, Chuck (Pat) Greening of Appleton, Sue (Bill) Mueller of Milwaukee, Ron (RK) Greening of Manitowoc and Carol (John) Harmon of West Bend; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Beaudo, Lorraine Wangerin and Marie Holquist, all of Menominee; two brothers-in-law, Ralph Sorensen and Larry (Marge) Greening, all of Menominee and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Shaun Greening; five sisters and one brother and four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
Cremation took place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A private memorial service was held at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc with Deacon Alan Boeldt officiating.
