THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Emilie Em Fetterly, 69, of Pound passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Jan. 17 with her family at her side.
Born Jan. 31, 1943 in Marinette to the late Raymond and Delma (Hoida) Brault, on July 21, 1962 she married Richard Fetterly at St. Charles Catholic Church, Lena.
She worked at Coleman Products for nine years. She loved the home life taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, baking and gardening.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Richard Fetterly; three children, John (Tina) Fetterly of Pound, Jill Fetterly of Menominee and Joy (Todd) Oliver of LaCrosse; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Judy Christopherson of Howard; a brother, Harold (Connie) Brault of Green Bay and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal and a brother-in-law, Donald Christopherson.
Friends called on Sunday, Jan. 20 at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Lena from 3 p.m. until time of the wake service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Mark Kostreva officiating. Visitation continued at St. Anne Catholic Church, Lena from 9 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 21. Fr. Celestine Byekwaso officiated and interment was at St. Charles Cemetery, Lena.
