Kelly E. McGivern, 58, of Menominee passed away on Thursday, Jan. 24 at Aurora Bay Care in Green Bay.
Born on May 22, 1954 in Jacksonville, Fla. to the late Clyde and Esther (Marcusen) McGivern, he married the former Karen Maurer in De Pere on May 5, 1973.
A hard worker, he was employed as a journeyman welder at Marinette Marine for 40 years. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, watching Westerns and was an avid Menominee Maroon football fan. He loved music and was known to be very artistic. Above all else, spending time with his family and grandchildren is what he loved most.
Survivors include his wife, Karen; a daughter, Kerry (Keith) Engels and son, Kevin McGivern, both of Menominee; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; a sister, Becky (Tim Martin) Thoune of Daggett, Mi. and a brother, Keith McGivern of Menominee.
Family and friends may call at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home, Stephenson, Mi. on Wednesday, Jan. 30 after 4 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jim Mathews officiating.
