Beverly J. Gorman
Beverly J. Gorman of Pound passed away peacefully on her 75th birthday, Tuesday, Feb. 12, surrounded by her family.
Born Feb. 12, 1938 to Walter and Phyllis (Jashinsky) Gretzon, she enjoyed being in the kitchen, camping, shopping and playing games with her family. She was a devoted Christian who faithfully attended church with her husband, Raymond and followed her faith every day. Most of all she loved spending time with her husband, family and friends and cherished each and every moment. She worked at Piggly Wiggly in Coleman for 27 years where she enjoyed her customers and co-workers.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond A. Gorman; her mother, Phyllis Gretzon of Peshtigo; five children, Susan (Dean) Portier of Lena, Dennis (Jillane) Gorman of Oconto Falls, Terry (Mari Jo) Gorman of Green Bay, Dawn (Robert) Berg of Greeley, Colo. and Christopher (Christa) Gorman of Middle Inlet; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; six brothers, Roger (Nancy) Gretzon, Ronnie (Carol) Gretzon, Floyd (Jeanine) Gretzon, Fred (Sue) Gretzon, Dale Gretzon and Larry (Kelly) Gretzon; six sisters, Elsie Gamerdinger, Barb Fisher, Donna (John) Kovnesky, Audrey (Randy) Hill, Doris Gretzon and Melody Nordness; a sister-in-law, Danita Gretzon and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Gretzon and a brother, Arvid Gretzon.
Friends may call at The Assembly of God Church, Gillett from 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16 until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Rev. Paul Carlson will officiate and interment will be at First Baptist Cemetery, Pound. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman is assisting the family.
