THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Susan Sue Perry, 61, of Coleman passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
Born on May 7, 1951 to Alfred and Elizabeth (Edlebeck) Novak, sr. in Wausaukee, on Feb. 12, 1972 she married Mike Perry at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Wausaukee.
She owned and operated Comb-N-Brush Beauty Salon for 20 years and then worked for the United States Postal Service in Coleman and the surrounding area for 21 years. She loved cooking, laughing and loving with her family and friends.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Mike; four children, Mike II (Eileen) Perry of Chicago, Scott (Kelly) Perry of Suamico and Carrie (Richard) Brazeau and Dan Perry, both of Coleman and 13 grandchildren. She is further survived by her mother, Betty Novak of Wausaukee; four brothers, Al Novak, jr., Don (Ginny) Novak, Andy (Colleen) Novak and Hank (Donna) Novak; seven sisters, Kathy Novak, Judy Novak, Ruthie (Yosh) Grutza, Rosie (Alex) Zahorik, Peggy Novak (Kevin), Karen (Jim) Suennen and Shirley McClellan and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Novak, sr. and a brother, Steve Novak.
Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman from 4 p.m. until the parish wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation continued at the funeral home on Monday, March 4 from 9 a.m. until leaving for the 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne Catholic Church, Coleman. Fr. Celestine Byekwaso officiated and interment was at Evergreen Cemetery, Wausaukee.
