Dorothy L. LeRoy, 82, of Peshtigo passed away Monday, March 4 at Rennes Health Center-East, Peshtigo.
Born July 23, 1930 in Beaver Dam to George and Regina (Bauer) Braun, after her marriage to Daniel A. LeRoy, she moved to Marinette and resided in the area since.
Together with her husband, Daniel they owned and operated the Merle Norman Cosmetic and Beauty Salon in Menominee for many years. He preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 2009. She enjoyed many things in life, especially sewing, baking and flowers. She loved her family and will be remembered for always offering a hug to people. She was the family golf cart driver and an avid Milwaukee Brewer fan.
She is survived by her seven children, Debra, Daniel III (Debra), David, Dennis, Douglas, Dean (Becky) and Diana; five grandchildren; one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel.
A committal service was held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 8 at Forest Home Mausoleum in Marinette. Deacon Jerome Thetreau officiated and Inurnment followed. Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home assisted the family.
