Ray C. Wanholm
Ray Wanholm, age 70, of Twin Bridge, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013, at NEWCare Convalescent Center in Crivitz. Ray was born in Detroit, Michigan on Sept. 16, 1942, son of the late Alvin and LouEtta (Correll) Wanholm. Ray was united in marriage to Karin Henke in Addison, Illinois. Ray served his country honorably entering into the United States Navy. He was an avid fisherman, and especially enjoyed fishing for brook trout. He also enjoyed hunting. Ray is a member of Netzel-Zenz American Post #413 of Crivitz.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Karin; two children: Christine Chilcote and Alvin (Angela Bergemann) Wanholm; four grandchildren: Rachel, Quinten, Kylie, and Ariel; and special family members: aunt Judy Espencheid and cousin Don Just. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Messar-Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee with Pastor Don Landwehr and Rev. Richard Marcy officiating. Family and Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. After the service, Ray's family asks that you join them for a fish fry at their home on High Falls to reminisce on the life of Ray.
