THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Visitation was held after 9 a.m. on Monday, March 18 at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., for Rosalie Hoffman, 86, of Oconto Falls, formerly of Kelly Lake.
Deacon Walt Kaszynski officiated and burial took place in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in Klondike. She died Friday afternoon, March 15.
Born Jan. 3, 1927 in Michigan to Charles and Irene (Servant) Verron, she married Leo B. Hoffman on Nov. 15, 1947 in Oconto.
Surviving are six children, Dennis (Kay) Hoffman, Paul Hoffman, Betty Unger, Leah (Tim) Derepkowski, Marie (Phillip) Schuettpelz and Thomas (Mary) Hoffman; a daughter-in-law, Lauri Hoffman; grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a sister, Marie Konitzer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo and two sons, Karl and infant Edwin.
