Beverly J. Brandow, 90, of Marinette passed away Friday, March 29 at Bay Area Medical Center, Marinette.
Born July 1, 1922 in Marinette to Leslie and Pauline (Hartfield) Utke, she resided there most of her life and was a graduate of Marinette High School, Class of 1940.
She attended secretarial school in Milwaukee and was married to James Brandow in 1944. Over the course of her working years, she was employed by Marinette General Hospital, the Boren Clinic and the Wausau Insurance Agency. Although employed, she was also a devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker. She always displayed a contentment in life and will be remembered for her happy disposition and never complaining.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Thomas) Walker of Menominee and Debra (Steve) LaCoursiere of Marinette; a son-in-law, Jerry Kotecki of Peshtigo; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James in 1998; a daughter, Sheryl Kotecki; a grandson, Marc LaCoursiere and two sisters, Harriet Konyn and Marcia Lannoye.
Friends called at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home in Marinette, after 4 p.m. on Monday, April 1 until time of the funeral services at 6 p.m. Chaplain Darrel Diers officiated and burial was in Forest Home Cemetery.
