Timothy J. Heil, 53, of Marinette passed away on Tuesday, April 2 at Aurora Bay Care in Green Bay.
Born on Sept. 15, 1959 to the late Charles and Phyllis (Peot) Heil in Marinette, he graduated from Marinette High School in 1977.
He worked as a carpenter, building custom houses and later became a union carpenter. He enjoyed spending time outdoors camping and golfing.
Surviving are two daughters, Jessica Heil and Jennifer (Ray) Ip, both of San Marcos, Tex.; two grandchildren; his girlfriend, Sue Nielsen and her children; five brothers, Joe, Charles, jr. and Patrick (Emilie), all of Green Bay and Marc and Jamie, both of Marinette; two sisters, Ann (James) Rose of Washinton Island and Amy (Gregg) Irwin of Marinette; his grandmother, Leona Berg of Marinette and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mabel and Albert Heil and maternal grandfather, George Peot.
Friends called at Thielen Funeral Home on Friday, April 5 from 4 p.m. until time of the service at 7 p.m. Deacon Jerome Thetreau officiated and burial was in Forest Home Cemetery.
