Lonnie Lee Kasbaum, 53, of Oconto lost his battle with diabetes, on Wednesday, April 24.
In his younger years he worked for Witt Ford in Crivitz and Cruisers Yachts. He tended bar for Woodys OK Tavern for many years and lived most of his life in Oconto and Crivitz. He loved to cook and tinker with cars. He had a love for the Oconto breakwater and enjoyed spending time relaxing there.
Surviving are his parents, Linda (Jerome) Kopp and Lee (Ann Marie) Kasbaum, all of Oconto; a daughter, Stacie Jo (Jason) Rojek of Peshtigo; two grandsons; two brothers, Leland Joe (Teresa) Kasbaum of Missouri and Leroy Kasbaum of Oconto; a half-brother, Jayme (Carol) Kopp of Gillett; a stepbrother, Jerome (Carol) Kopp of Peshtigo; three sisters, Lori (Brian) Tonn of Peshtigo, Leah (friend, Larry) Zahorik of Gillett and Lu (Paul) Stenstrup of Oconto; a stepsister, Cindy Kopp of Porterfield and significant other, Diana Meni of Oconto.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Larry and a brother, Lennie; grandparents, Martin and Jane Lade and John and Mary Kasbaum and a brother-in-law, Jeff Zahorik.
The family received relatives and friends at Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto from 2 p.m. until time of the funeral services at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 26 with Rev. Mary Zupansic officiating.
