Friends called for Anne Schumacher, 89, of Green Bay, at Annunciation Catholic Church, Green Bay from 10 a.m. until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 29.
Rev. Ryan Krueger officiated and entombment was at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Blaney Funeral Home, Green Bay assisted the family. She passed away Thursday, April 25.
Born Sept. 28 1923 in Green Bay to Joseph and Esther De Bock, on May 17, 1947 she married Benjamin Schumacher at Annunciation Catholic Church.
The couple raised five children and she spent many hours playing golf with family and friends. She enjoyed flowers, knitting, needlepoint, rug hooking, playing bridge, traveling and art museums.
She is survived by her husband, Ben; children, Mary (Bruce) Hausauer of Owosso, Mi., Glenn (Sharon) Schumacher of Peshtigo, Karen (David) Anderson of Lodi and Becky Hecker of Sterling Heights, Mi.; eight granddaughters; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Agnes Hujet of Green Bay and a niece and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Eileen; a granddaughter, April Louise Schumacher and a sister, Mary Kammer.
