Spencer B. Patz
Spencer B. Patz, 29, of Coleman passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 5, 2013. The son of Darrell and Jeannie (Plewka) Patz was born on September 6, 1983 in Green Bay. He was a 2002 graduate of Coleman High School.
He was employed for Patz Corp. for eight years and most recently had the position of OEM/Territory Manager. Spencer was married to Erin M. Faller on July 7, 2012. He attended Faith Baptist Church, Peshtigo. Spencer had a passion for the outdoors. Fall was his favorite season. He loved bow hunting, deer hunting, and especially hunting with the guys. Opening nights of deer season were spent around the Patz family table sharing their stories with Brothers Three pizza. He enjoyed fishing with friends, four-wheeling around the home property, putting puzzles together and watching Leave It to Beaver. He really enjoyed making his wife Erin laugh and left special notes and treats for her when she came home from work late at night. Spencer enjoyed going antler-shed hunting in the spring with Erin. He loved to cook and grill outside.
Survivors include his wife, Erin; parents, Darrell and Jeannie Patz of Coleman; brother, Lincoln (Erika) Patz of Coleman; sister, Hillary Patz of Brookfield, IL; maternal grandmother, Irene Plewka of Green Bay; aunts and uncles; Lee and Joyce Dudek, Arlene Sailer, LaVerne (Harold) Grosse, Clifford (Nancy) Patz, Howard (Valerie) Patz, Eleanor (Roger) Gusick, Harold (Joan) Patz; cousins; Adam (Jenny) Dudek, Erin Dudek; many other cousins.
Also his in-laws, Tom (Ann Brennan) Faller of Marinette; Andrew (Becky) Faller, Adam Faller, Elizabeth (Brad) Skaer and Lou Mamia Brennan; special friends, Dave (Ann) Sprout and their daughters; Betsy, Maddie and Sarah.
Spencer was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul and Mamie Patz; maternal grandfather, John Plewka; twin nephews, Lucas and Matthew; special friend, Justin Woodworth.
There will be a visitation at the Faith Baptist Church, 350 N. Stephenson Ave., Peshtigo on Saturday, May 11th from noon until the time of services. Funeral services will be held Saturday at the church at 3 p.m. Pastor Dave Selness will officiate with burial in the First Baptist Cemetery, Pound. A Memorial Fund has been established.
