THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Crivitz Sister Cities Future On Line At May 22 Meeting
A few years ago Crivitz - both in Wisconsin and in Germany - had active Sister Cities organizations, but in Wisconsins Crivitz it has become quite inactive in the last two or three years. Friends in the Crivitz, Germany group have expressed interest in visiting their American Sister City in 2014. Crivitz (Wisconsin) Village President John Deschane has issued an invitation for anyone interested in restoring an active Crivitz Area Sister Cities group to attend a meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 22 at the Village Hall.
In a letter to former members Deschane said if there is not sufficient interest in restoring the group to active status, all remaining assets of the Crivitz Area Sister Cities group will be turned over to the Crivitz Historical Society.
