Wausaukee Memorial Services Slated May 27
The Wausaukee American Legion will hold its Memorial Day observance at 9 a.m. on Monday May 27th at Evergreen Cemetery in Wausaukee.
The Wausaukee High School Band under the direction of Rosalie Widstrand will begin the program followed by prayer by Chaplain Robson Barron. Opening remarks will be by Adjutant David Schlies. Guest speaker will be the James Morrison, Circuit Court Judge, Marinette County. All members are to meet at the Post at 8 A.M. and proceed to the cemetery. Coffee and a social will preclude at the Post.
Wausaukee Legion and Auxiliary meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of the month starting at 7 P.M. Any donations or baskets for the benefit for little Leah can be taken to the meeting on May 21st.
