Bernadette E. Bernie (Molter) Meek, formerly of Milwaukee, Shawano and later Crivitz, passed away May 8, in Waukesha.
She and her husband, John, owned and operated the Riverview Motel in Shawano for many years.
Survivors include children, Janet (Frank) Sardina of Mukwonago, Joyce (Richard) Green of Milwaukee, Jerry (Jody) of New Berlin, Joanne (the late Keith) Woitekaitis of Porterfield, Jenny Lex and Jim (Jo) of Waukesha, Julie (Jeff) Wendt of Wasilla, Alaska, Jeff (Penny) of Wautoma and Jay (Dee) Meek of Bowler; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters, Terri Molter of Janesville, Aggie Molter of Marinette, and Sue (Rich) Kempka of Peshtigo; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; two sons, John W. and Joseph; and five brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 15 at St. Matthias Church, Milwaukee, from 4 to 6:15 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 6:30 p.m. Committal services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.
