THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Ida Moraga, 95, of Marinette passed away on Friday, May 24.
The former Ida Lenzi was born on April 25, 1918 in Cochabamba, Bolivia to the late Antonio and Maria Lenzi. She married Albert Moraga-Decker on May 27, 1939 in Oruro, Bolivia and he preceded her in death on July 11, 1963.
Five children, who survive are Erik Moraga (Pamela) of Ashburn, Va., Lilian Boucher (Donald) of Surprise, Ariz., Roger Moraga of New Berlin, Kent Moraga (Jill) of Avon, Ind. and Clara Moraga of Bel Air, Md. and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, Albert, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lina Lenzi of Bolivia and Rosita Gamberini of Italy and a brother, Julio Lenzi of Chile.
Friends may call on Saturday, June 1 from noon until 2 p.m. at the Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Marinette. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm at the church with Rev. Jon Nelson officiating. Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home, Marinette is assisting the family.
