THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Judy Budzis, 69, of Crivitz passed away Sunday, June 2.
Born to the late Andrew and Delores Maciejczak on Oct. 23, 1943 in Oconto, she graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1962.
On Aug. 22, 1964 she married her high school sweetheart, Michael R. Budzis. Throughout the years they had a family and made many of their dreams come true. She worked at Sure Way/Jubilee Foods as a service counter clerk for 35 years and loved her job. She enjoyed being around people, had a kind, caring way about her and was patient and understanding. In 1997 she retired and moved Up North where she enjoyed her retirement. She loved deer hunting, fishing, watching the Green Bay Packers and cooking and baking. Throughout the years she created many recipes of her own. She also did cake decorating and made many cakes for family and friends for special occasions. But most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Her husband of 48 years, Michael survives, along with two daughters, Patricia M. Budzis and Michelle L. Budzis; three grandchildren; two brothers, Bill (Kathy) Maciejczak and Bruce (Mary) Maciejczak; two sisters, Mary Boyce and Pat (Dave) Johnson; many sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Private services were held for family members at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Crivitz.
