Emma Katherine Parker, known as Kay to her family and friends, died Friday, May 31 at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette.
Born April 23, 1924 in Trenton, Mo. She completed high school there. She graduated from the Kahler School of Nursing in Rochester, Minn. in 1947 and married Ralph E. Parker that year.
She worked in various capacities in the nursing profession and completed her career as an Emergency Services Supervisor in Onawa, Iowa in 1987. The couple retired to the Crivitz area to be near their children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph and daughters, Pam Kanikula (Jim) and Nancy Konegni (kim) and a sister, Marylin Hoffman (Charles). She was the loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and five great-granddaughters.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a son Alan Parker (Cindy) and a brother, Dr. David Witten (Netta).
Funeral services will be held at the Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Crivitz on Saturday, June 15. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with service at 11 a.m. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home of Crivitz is assisting the family.
