Visitation for Daniel C. Jackl, 62, of Green Bay was held at Cotter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, De Pere on Saturday, June 15 from 2 p.m. until time of the memorial service at 3 p.m.
Rev. Dennis Toyne officiated. He passed away Wednesday, June 12 at a Green Bay hospital with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born Dec. 21, 1950 in Menominee to the late Amel Jackl and Gloria Chernetski, he attended Menominee schools and graduated from Cannon High School on Midway Island in 1969.
He attended Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach, Va. and after college, moved to the Marinette/Menominee area, then to De Pere. He was very strong willed and worked until a week before his death. He was very humorous, loved joking around and enjoyed cribbage, computers and his cat.
His fiance, June Jabas survives, along with two sons, Michael Jackl and Matthew Kispert; one granddaughter; his former wife, Mary Schuning and other family and close friends.
