After moving to Marinette in 1964, she continued to pursue various courses at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College including millinery and fur-restyling crafts. She has been well-known by friends and family for her recipes and baking abilities.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the caregivers from Northland HomeCare and ResCare for assisting in her care at her home over the last months. The family could not have done this without the genuine kindness and compassion from all caregivers and friends that have been involved with keeping her at home as her final wish.
