Margaret F. Gansebom, 98, of Marinette passed away on Wednesday, June 19 at the Luther Home in Marinette.
Born in Milwaukee on Sept. 28, 1914 to the late Fred and Margaret (Steinbach) Keller, she was married to Henry E. Gansebom in Milwaukee, where they farmed for many years. He preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 1971.
She was a seamstress and did all the alterations at American Dry Cleaners in Butler for 35 years, retiring at the age of 90. An avid bowler, she was still bowling on three leagues until up in her late 80s. She also enjoyed gambling, ceramics and traveling.
She is survived by a son, Ray (Merri) Gansebom of Peshtigo; a daughter, Margaret (Pete) Fleisner of Menomonee Falls; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a great-granddaughter to be born in August.
Besides her parents and husband, Henry, she was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Peshtigo from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Fr. Ralph Merkatoris will officiate and interment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
